BEAD pickups

I have a MIC Squier Pbass that i am restringing to BEAD, and I also need new pickups. As far as reasonably priced (and passive) goes, there are EMG Selects and Seymore-Duncan QPs.

the selects are rather cheap. i like what ive heard about QPs but some people have referred to EMGs are more hi-fi, which i prefer. honestly if someone would recommend going active when tuning to B i would go that route, but i prefer passive pickups.

look at the EMG-HZ series, passive and pretty sweet. That is what i have and I have gone into drop G and they handle it fine.

the QPs are really strong and have got much clarity and cut-through capability. very good low end (on the P model), better than my HZ's on the spector (which are pretty solid).
