Hi all,
New member here! Having trouble with Warwick st2 GAS - my favourite bassist is Dirk Lance (early Incubus) and the tone he gets is stunning. I keep thinking I have to have this exact bass but it's so wrong for the following reasons
a) Outrageously expensive, awesome though it is
b) I don't like 5 string basses, I find 4 much easier
c) I have a Lakland Skyline 44-02 which I picked the right way, by trying out loads and seeing which was the most playable
I managed to try a used st2 (tricky to find in the UK) but although it was powerful the sound was a bit undefined. Yet after all this I still think I should have one and spend way too much time GASsing instead of practicing!

Anyone out there have similar issues and tips for growing up and getting on with playing instead??
