Very close to the Beatles' Complete Scores. A couple minor differences. But who's to say they have it right. Good work!

All the usual suspects really, it's difficult to pick a favorite. I enjoyed working this out for a fellow TB'er, if I had been aware of the isolated track being around, I would have played a few things differently. This was as close as I could get picking it apart from the original track (apart from using fingers instead of a pick).

For those who teach and anyone interested....

i made some pdfs on Guitar Pro this weekend of some tunes....they are meant to represent the main parts of the tunes , without fills etc and fit on 1 page or close!

I realize, like you said, that Eight Days a Week is done with open strings in this instance. I've also seen people play it like that but I'm learning it at a higher octave and have seen people play it like that too.

I'm just wondering how Paul actually played it. I can't really tell from the recording. Which way is "right"?

This thread is right up my alley! My New Year's resolution is to learn the bass part to every Beatles song in 2012. I've finished learning their first studio album "Please, Please me" (which was recorded was recorded live in the studio in one day). Its been a bit harder than I thought.

So, on "Please, Please me", my favorites were:

Next, I'm doing "with the beatles". I'm looking forward to "all my loving".

This album captivated me as a kid. For my 6th birthday, I was given a phonograph (what's that?). I pirated my dad's Beatles LP's and listened to them obsessively.
