Hey all,

I'm considering swapping this late 90's fretless L2000 for either a lined fretless G&L or a fretted JB. This gorgeous example of G&L's mastery of burst finishes is a real case queen. Never gigged out in the 7 years I've owned it, very clean and little neck wear. #8 neck profile which means a 12" radius and 1.5" width at the nut. Strung with chromes, very low miles. Let me know what you have!

Lovely, how heavy is it? Is the body ash or alder? Can you please post a pic of the truss rod adjuster at the headstock?

I added inlaid dots to an early fretless L-2000 and they work great. They line up with the position side dots that were put in at the factory. I have a couple of lined fretlesses, and I'm just as comfortable with dots at this point. I don't really feel the need for more dots on the treble side of the board like you find on NS Design uprights.

Hi!

Truss rod nut pic is attached. Not sure about the wood. Judging from the wider grain pattern I would say its alder, not ash. Using the very scientific 'holding the bass while standing on a bathroom scale' method, it weighs in at 10.4 pounds. Rather surprising to me as it does not feel very heavy on a strap!

Thanks for checking it out, let me know if you have any more questions.

Craig
