Behringer Bass V-AMP Pro - Part II: Get On Back, Jack, Do It Again...

has anyone changed the battery recently? My question is should I do it while the unit is turned on as not to lose all my presets, or does it give you enough time when unplugged to do it anyway within a couple minutes?

I know on a computer it will retain the bios clock for a short bit so you can change it out when unplugged, but just making sure this thing is similar or needs to do it while turned on.

TIA :)

Under L1 mode as prescribed above, the XLR out will be the same signal as the 1/4", but balanced for the journey to FOH.

Ultra-G will not be in effect at the XLR while under L1 mode, but this is perfectly fine as the cabinet sims will be present both the 1/4" and XLR outs.
Hi, another question, I'm also a keyboard player and I want to use the bass v amp for that, is there a way to connect my synth in stereo? Thanks again!

I'm a newbie here and i finally started using my bass v amp pro after having it for years and years. Im a mac user and I'm using a third party version of the v amp editor. I'm also using the roland um one midi to usb connecter to run from the v amp to my computer. when i do the test setup in the midi studio ( mac users) i get infinite beeping, meaning its receiving midi data, and the on the face of the v amp it keeps changing channels like every other second. just trying to get it setup up and working so if anyone can help me out that would be awesome

Did you change the battery?

Sorry to say that I have long moved on to other gear and that the V-AMP only allows for 1 effect at a time.

Cheers!

That blows... the manual says you can use multi effects, but doesn't explain how. It says and I quote "The effects control lets you select and effects preset or a combination of several effects" Thanks for getting back to me... I'm not convinced it can't do more...

If you use the editor you can see you get up to 6 effects. 1) Wah, 2) Stompbox, 3) The Amp Model with Comp, Amp and Cab model, preamp controls, 4) X-Over if you choose to bi-amp, 5) Denoiser, 6) FX, at one time.

Hello;
Been reading on this for a week now! Just got a V amp Pro off eBay ($60.00) (Wow, I'm Cheap) anyway I have a bi-amp set up I built years ago with a Peavey Pre Amp Got an AB Systems amp which is power for days . There has been talk about the XLR outputs so I guess I will go from those direct into the power amp? Then I have a PAS 15 and a PAS 10 (little flipping beast), My bass is a G&L 1000. Even the pickup is passive it has a pretty strong signal, I usually don't turn up my volume full.
As for the used unit I have coming, with all the reading here, I plan on changing the battery first, then do a factory reset, and then adjust the Gain as outlined here and start "ripping" the settings!
I'm 72 years old this thing might take me to 80yrs or so just to figure it all out!

Hello again;
Looks like Im talking bass to myself?!
Anyway, got the unit today, checked the battery, 3.25 volts! Did a factory reset, seemed to work just fine!
Then I noticed that the unit got doesn't have the right modeling effects printed on the front panel?
Could someone please supply a shot of their amps selection and effects selection knobs. under amps mine says nothing about SVT but says Rock Classic and under says Drive V Amp? is that right or did I get some bastardized version of this unit??
I also noticed that the master does not seem to be working?
Thanks.

OK!
Been messing around with this creation!! Got some sounds via Charlie's supplied quick start guide!
So far it shows a lot of promise but Im believing it will torture my brain so I have decided to set a couple sounds, get it to work in bi amp mode and go from there!
Already I have found out that teamed with my AB Systems amp (don't ask, it's old) my amp can almost make an earthquake!!! Hell it gets loud!!! (Im liking that part)

Rock Classic is the SVT - they cannot use the actual names. I thought I had a list of the amps somewhere - if I find it I'll post it here. Or look in this thread since that's probably where I got it initially.
