Behringer BOD100 Bass Overdrive Effects Pedal

Does anybody use one of these? I bought one a few weeks ago and, man, this thing is a lot of fun. It dials up some great overdrive sounds through my Peavey 450 Max head and Fender 210 Pro cabinet. I've never used a pedal before, except for the Behringer BDI21...which I regret selling...I liked it better than the SansAmp GT2 that I had. Well, maybe I just like cheap effects?

I had a pretty open mind, true they use cheaper parts, but who knows sometimes the magic happens and cheap gaer sounds awesome, then again the only product I ever bought from behringer (little mixer) broke literally in the first 20 minutes so....(and when I say broke I mean exploded, total crap!) but maybe you'll be luckier....

The BOD100 is awsome for a cheap pedal. I did AB comparison of the full gain, no clean blend, of the BOD100 and an MXR Bass DI+. Totaly different sound of effect of course, but the most interesting part was how much better bass responce the BOD100 has. I had their CS100 and it had poor bass reponce. I think it is random quality control or something. There are some exceptional Behringers and some really bad Behringers. Just try it out before you buy and it's all good.

I've got the overdrive and the chorus. The 1st overdrive was fine when off. When I turned it on, it was dead. I got that replaced for free. The replacement has been fine. The chorus doesn't like to always fully disengage when I have the settings rather extreme. Fortunately I have a separate loop these are in on my chain. Since they're set up like that, I don't mind. I'm thinking the things are really hit or miss.

I've had great luck with a couple of Behringer mixing boards...

OK, update. I bragged about these pedals yesterday. A few hours later the overdrive sounded weak (even on AC), and then just quit suddenly. So 2 out of 3 pedals have died now.
