Belated NCD

Been looking for one of these for a while to complete my outdoor/big rig: A Bag End S15X-B!

This will pair with another Bag End S15-B:

The cab was used but not abused. However the previous owner bypassed the crossover and coaxial tweeter. After some great customer service and consultation with Bag End, I was able to easily re-wire and get up and running. This is a killer rig which will immediately go into rotation with my Mesa Walkabout 12, which I’ll keep in regular use for rehearsal and smaller/indoor gigs. Very pleased.

How's the rig working out for you? I've been considering getting one if I can find one used.
Really, really well. These cabs are not fancy or overhyped…they just get the job done with well balanced tone, plenty of volume and a relatively easy schlep. They sound great with my Walkabout but really shine with the Eden. There was a beautiful pair of S15 here in the TB classifieds a few weeks ago (in VA). Honestly I was tempted to get them, but I really don’t need them!

I love my two s15 cabs but a little more high end would be good on some things. So I'm on the hunt for a used s15x. I'd probably run all 3 outdoors and 1 or 2 of them indoors.
Yeah - the s15x really brings the clarity…sometimes too much! In fact, I typically run my HPLP to shave off the sub lows and super highs, which really focuses on the meat of the tone. Fortunately the cabinets plays well with this approach and doesn’t sound choked. I’ll keep my eye out for you!
