could you pls share some experience with the Bugera T5 ?
I`m thinking to take it for my home studio, to mix it with direct signal,

My opinion...The Bugera T5 is not any good for bass. I was actually impressed with it for the $99 price I paid, and I also play a little guitar and it is very good for that so I kept it. Definitely gives a lot of breakup when pushed. But the tone for bass is not there. I ran the bass control all the way up and the treble all the way down, still way too bright for bass guitar.
I eventually went for an Ampeg PF50-T for my home studio bass amp, and I love it. My advice would be to go for either the PF20-T or 50-T. BTW, the 50-T through a pair of 15" cabs is very loud. Never tried it for a gig and probably never will, but all the power you would ever need for home or studio. Also has multiple DI outputs for recording. And all with the classic Ampeg tube tone.

Great pre amp in em too.

I've gotta Super Bassman, same pre as 100T. Have only played the 100T in store, and it sounded great.

Both channels are terrific.

Whenever I am using DAW plugins it's either a Vox or Bassman model for guitar, Bassman for bass. I used to have an old Traynor which was based on the Bassman, but it was too many Watts for recording, not enough and too much weight for live use. So a 5W Bassman would be pretty much perfect for me.

Actually, I don`t need much power, nor the DI, no need to spend so much for Ampeg.
And I don`t care much about low end either, as I mentioned, I would mix it with another direct signal (perhaps from my Mesa DI preamp). Only I wanted to use the tube amp with small 1x10 box to capture the sound with microphone, to add some tubey bonus to the sound.
Besides I have also one old strat guitar, for which I don`t own any equipment, so I may be able to use the amp for that as well.
So I was thinking to have such new toy for playing.
But obviously it`s not so good idea, I need yet to think about little more.

Is there a loop into which a different tone stack could be inserted? (Ideally without amp surgery). I used to have an Electar 10 (10W? 5W? I forget). That just had a tone knob and tiny speaker. Into a bigger speaker (some surgery on terminals required) it was a decent sound for bass, but the tone knob was fairly pointless for bass. I wish I'd kept it for guitar, but I would have wanted to have added an effects loop to run alternative EQ in, and that sort of thing is beyond my skills on an amp, even more a tube amp!
