Ben Harper on Austin City Limits- bassist?

I was fortunate to catch Ben Harper on Austin City Limits the other night, even though I didn't know who he was.

Anyway, his bass player broke out into a nice funky slap solo, fairly uncommon for Austin City Limits. It was great and his bass was gorgeous, looked like a Fender Jazz 5, tans. teal, white moto guard, maple fretboard, pearloind inlays, BEE-utiful!

It was a good show. I've seen one other bass solo on ACL when Pat Metheny played and Richard Bona got a fretless solo. Quite awesome.
