Ben Kenney Chorus

It was brought to my attention that this could be a flanger, but I still think it is a chorus. Maybe chorus/phaser or chorus/flanger could get this tone best, but I still can't get it to be this thick. I'm buying one of the new Danelectro Cool Cat CC-1 Choruses (not the old one, the new true-bypass one), maybe that will help.

Buy a pod and I rarely say that but buy a pod

I don't think it would be useful for only a few sounds. In your opinion, does it sound a chorus or a flanger?

But those sounds are the same sounds you ask about week in week out.

Also it's a flanger and a very thin one at that it's doing bad things to his tone, phaser is a much better way to play this song, I'll do a clip with my jazz with flats into my Subdecay Quasar and while it doesn't sound the same it's a similar vibe and I think and improvement. Unless of course you want to sound like a big guitar.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I really want to stick to singles. What bad things do you think it's doing to his tone? IMO it's a nice tone and is thick, I can't get that thick with my BF-2, but that's my opinion. A clip would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

100 times better now. they matured. maybe someday you will as well. ill keep my fingers crossed for you closed minded ones, good luck. and have fun playing in your basements while ben kenney is playing with incubus in front of 1000's. maybe you can cover one of their songs. pathetic

Try these

60's classic jazz with overwater flats into Cream Pie into Quasar

Same bass but into a 60% clean blend Huckleberry into Quasar into Echobox

Thanks for the clips, you an incubus fan? Also, I'm still more of a chorus/flanger person, so when I get another chorus pedal, I like playing this song with the BF-2 and the chorus on a thick lush setting.
