Ben is a good friend. He's doing great but recently had a lot of gear stolen. I'm trying to help him recover it and it would be great if you would help spread the word by going to Link Removed and keeping your eyes out for the listed gear. Thanks a ton!

The Day I Tried to Live was actually the first song i learned to play on bass. and definitely one of the greatest bands ever.

even though Cornell has lost it. his last solo album had about 3 decent songs on it, and now he's working with Timbaland on his next album. ***?

If you just jam the q-tip in your ear you can inadvertently lodge the wax deeper into the ear canal causing long and short term damage and hearing loss. Try using a warm saline solution to rinse out the clog and perhaps regain some of your hearing.;):D

Ben IS a monster bass player, but he's a guitar player first and foremost. I filmed the HATER reunion in late 2008 and if you're a fan, hit me up, the entire show lives on my server and you can watch it. Unrepresented hasn't accomplished much. Ben has accomplished a lot. He has a new solo record that my friend Dylan Frombach is producing and mixing. It's pretty much in the vein of Hater. Ben also recently recorded with Jordan Cook on a record that will be released soon. Look that kid up, he kills it!!

i dont know why people on here are saying that he wasnt a good bassist,ive always found ben's basslines innovative,like from spoonman and such.hes just as good if not better than the other bass players in his league(mike inez,krist novoselic)

as for his basses,ive always seen him with fender basses,i commonly see him with jazz basses ,and also an older fender bass that looks almost like the mike dirnt bass.also ive seen him with rics.

I liked a lot of Ben's lines, but Soundgarden was most exciting to me with "Ultramega O.K." featuring Hiro Yamamoto on bass. I saw Soundgarden circa '89 -'90 at Lamours East in Brooklyn, second on a bill w/Faith No More (opener) and Voivod (headliner????) and they were everything you'd want in a heavy rock band.
