Looks like there's one on Reverb for sale. Anyone have any experience with one of these? Never seen or heard one before.

Yes! We've got this one, and it's amazing! This Benavente practically drives itself. Extremely comfortable, and expressive. If you've played a Benavente, you know that the craftsmanship is superb, and the feel and tone is very organic. This particular Benavente is a shorter scale single cut, so proportions are smaller, which means you can maneuver more easily up and down the neck (think Stanley Clarks shorter scale Alembic). The single cut adds so much more resonance and sustain over a double cut body. It's truly one of the most affordable boutique basses we have in stock at the moment.
