I'm doing a 6-string bass project (octave down guitar kind) and I would like to install a wraparound guitar bridge but I'm wondering if it would be ok to wrap (at the maximum) a .084" E-string around a bridge like that.

That's a good question. I'll check on that. it'll be at the ball end and I wondered if the extra wrappings there would be a cause for concern. Is it tighter than a typical Fender tuning key post?
Maybe I could add something underneath to make a wider radius on the bendYeah, That could be a real issue; I can't imagine the string will be flexible enough to do a wrap at all.
Didn’t Birdsong do a pass-thru with a countersunk anchor on the backside?Maybe I could add something underneath to make a wider radius on the bend
