Howdy guys,
Have just spent the better part of the day reading up all I can find on TB about the Berg mini stack. I'm in Australia and don't have a local berg dealer so am trying to find out some low down.
I play an old french flatback with a realist, into sansamp or Millenia TD1 depending on size/weather/temperament/importance of gig. At mo running Eden WT550 into Acme B2 for upright gigs or UL 310 for doubling gigs. Also have Aguilar GS 210, Eden 210XLT, U5, demeter/crown for large EB gigs. Not really loving these rigs, ACME more often than not too much bottom, not enough clarity. UL 310 is ok but kinda electric sounding.
But the size and ability to take one or two cabs depending on gig sounds like bliss to me. Play everything from jazz trio, big band, large horn bands, aka will work for fun, beer, or money! Any comments from guys who have similar work or gear would very much be appreciated?
regards,
Barney
