Best amp for 500$?

$500 will get you plenty of new amps, shoot $300 will get you.
Ampeg BA115 combo
Hartke LH500 head
Acoustic (heads or combos)
GK (combos)

Play locally to see what you like then price match online to save a few bucks + sales tax. Amps I personally like to buy new. If something goes wrong you'll usually have a warranty. By saving $100 on a used amp you lose that security.

Cabs, Basses and Pedals are what I buy used.

Hello,,As a fellow Canadian, shipping to me from the USA can get pricey. I just purchased a used YBA 200-1, that was upgraded to YBA 200-2 specs (seller included a bill from Traynor for the work done). I had it shipped via USPS to the cost of $100.00 but it arrived at my door with nothing oweing for the CDN Gov't (No Duty,Brokerage Fees,Tax). It snuck in under the radar, :hyper:I am a very happy boy!
