Best Bass Pikckup for Metal

this is quieter. raising that pickup noise with distortion pedals is not a good idea

If you ask me, I think the best bass pick-ups in metal would be EMG pick-ups and bartolini pick-ups.

I have an SPB3 in a Squier P bass with 2 500k Pots w/ Tone Bypass and a Badass II. It sounds Amazing xD
Super Bassy with a little agression and a crystal clear high when the tone pot is at 0 and when turned to 10 its agressive and powerful with plenty of bite and a nice D.D Verni sort of Treble to it.
The Single Coil version sounds great agressive too, I saw somone at a venue near where i live using one in a Squier Classic P Reissue, Sounded Fantastic. But Kesh is right, Distortion probably isnt such a great idea
