G&L Tribute series, because they have a great range of tones, are well made, and look pretty cool

In my astute opinion, this thread belongs in the 'Basses' section ;)

Also please note that you will get much more for your money if you buy used.

Now that that's out of the way . . . take a look at the G&L Tribute line. Great basses for the money IMO/IME. Schecter and Ibanez also make some pretty decent instruments in this price range.

    Happy hunting :bassist:

I have a Fender Highway One Jazz that I absolutely love that was $720 or so new. What are you looking for?

This mans astute opinion is correct and i remaid the thread in the basses section. The reason its under recordings is a long long story and none of yall really care

The one that costs 799, duh.

  7. The one that has been best for ME for under $800 was my Hamer Blitz. Best purchase I've made in years.
