Double Bass Best bow for about $150?

Ive been looking into getting a new bow, as the bow i got with my bass managed to be even worse than the 10 year old fiberglass bows we use at school, and ive found a couple. Things like the golihur and upton and string emporium brazlwoods and a few cheap CF bows. If anyone has any expierience with any of these or any other suggestions, please let me know.

Well, I like my Upton german bow.

It's my 1st bow, and I'm a new UB user so I don't have anything to compare it to. I had a bit of a problem with how it was haired (didn't affect the playing at all, just the appearance), which Upton was more than happy to fix for me. I'm lucky enough to live close to them.

They are a great company (in my experience, bought a DB from them too) so I would highly recommend them.

In that price range I can't imagine you'll find much difference between them and the Golihur model. But again, Upton is a great company to work with, and that alone will make me buy from them again.

They're probably very similar quality wise, and the guy/company got great reviews, so the choice is pretty up to you.
