My Alembic is perfect as perfect can be, and it’s not even one of the Top-of-the-line Series basses.Alembic. The attention to detail is staggering, everything is well thought out and perfectly executed. You pay for that though.
Mass produced basses though... quality is really quite good across the board these days. Some very nice basses from Schecter, Epiphone, etc.
Um, didn’t someone mix up a voltage spec on a solenoid and almost blow the whole thing up??? I guess that was technically, the Service Module and not the lander. But an Ef’up is still an Ef’up.Best Build quality in my opinion:

Been playing for a long time…have had Squiers (3), Fenders American and Mex (4), Nash (1), Ricks (4), Gibson (1) and a couple of assorted Basses long ago and far away.
For me the Ricks have been the built built Basses I've had.
Hoping to try Sadowsky some day .. but haven't owned one yet.
I am interested in hearing from the men and women of Bassdom.. what brand of Bass has the best build quality in your opinion ? I am talking about fit and finish, how they resonate / feel in your hands, how they stay in tune, and how they sound to you.
Thank you - Happy weekend.
No the Lunar Module performed flawlessly, even to the point of rescuing the crew of Apollo 13. I don't think Luthiers were involved though...Um, didn’t someone mix up a voltage spec on a solenoid and almost blow the whole thing up??? Super surprised to see rickenbacker anywhere near a best build quality list
In my opinion it's not Ric's build quality would be the problem, it's their design choices that are questionable.Super surprised to see rickenbacker anywhere near a best build quality list
