Best hybrid bass head

Just all around head to play a variety of styles. Just curious to find out some things I’m not aware of. Thanks
I have an Eden WT 800 that I’ve had forever. Sounds great but looking around for a new head that has the tube sound. I contemplated a full tube head but just not interested in something that heavy. Thanks
I bought my first hybrid amp recently, and I love it.

The only other hybrid amp I can compare it to is the Ampeg SVT Pro 4. I love the Ampeg, but it sounds like Ampeg whatever you do. The Jad Freer Sisma is much more versatile IMO.
Unfortunately, I never tried the Mesa TT800 and WD800, but I'd love to.

The 2 best hybrid bass heads I have ever heard, or I guess I should say my 2 favorite, are the Mesa TT-800 and the Aguilar DB-751/750 series. I have played, gigged and owned just about everything out there, and those 2 really stand at the top, with the Ampeg SVT-3 and 4 heads close behind. Those 4 heads can cover almost any style of music very well.
Yeah I looked at the 751. Sweet amp but that’s still fairly heavy. Thanks for the input. This is great.

There is no best but what kind of music do you play? Who (bassist) has your favorite sound?
Are we talking new, old or vintage?
New? I can recommend Mesa’s TT and their WD-800. Old to Vintage? Give me an Eden any day of the week.
Playing mainly funk/70s style and also straight ahead rock in an 80s-90s cover group. I have passive and active basses for those various purposes. Thanks
Talking new or somewhat old (not vintage because I think of all tune heads there - SVT, etc.). Inn a perfect world I would have an early 70s SVT with an 8x10 but I don’t want to carry that!
