Hi, I'm looking for a bass with the features below:
New condition.
P bass like nut width, 40-42mm. I like necks wide and thin, so a wide nut with thin neck depth would be an ideal combo. I really dig the feel of 5 string Ibanez SRs since they're wide and thin but I'm more looking for a 4er this time.
Hangs balanced when playing. Fender Player series would be a good option but it's very neck-heavy.
Weighs under 10lbs, lighter the better.
I've tried a couple of Sires but they have the skinny Jazz necks and they're a little on the heavy side. Had a FGN too, it sounded so great but the U shape neck was super thick. Also had some Ibanez, didn't really like the narrow necks either. I really like Squiers and MIM Fenders but it's a shame that they are all neck heavy and I'm looking to spend more money on some lightweight tuners.
