Best phaser under $250

I have the old model Quasar and like it very much. I also have the Small Stone (my first phaser) and like it too, but the Quasar is the one I keep on my board.

Haven't tried the Quasar Deluxe but I'm not that interested because the old model does everything I need it to.

As someone pointed out, the old MXR Phase 90 is a classic for a reason though I prefer the old curcuit (like the Van Halen or "Script" model).

It's great on bass (nad posted some clips at one point) but the Barracuda is a flanger. The Phantasm is Toadworks' phaser.

I'm trying to find Maxon but clips would be great anyway. The only thing I'd prefer Maxon is the 4/6/10 stage switch.
And if I decide to take any of Quasars Subdecay will dominate on my board with Noise and Echo Boxes:D
I have the Grand Orbiter, and I really like it. I haven't had much experience testing out different phasers though, but I bought it based on soundclips and reviews of it, as it seemed to fit my description (which sounds similar to your description).

If you like, I could make a couple of soundclips.
