I'm glad you found that the Hartke HD15 was smaller than the dimensions posted earlier. Maybe those were box dimensions and not specified as such.
I had come back to offer a different thought and that is using a small "Bluetooth speaker." More specifically, I tried my son's JBL Charge 4 speaker via the 1/8" jack and am more than surprised at how good it sounds and how loud it can get for bass.
I tried it with a preamp pedal (Barber Linden EQ) and was, again, quite surprised by how it sounds. Right now I have it connected to my Line 6 POD HD500X with an iPad plugged into the CD/MP3 input playing along to songs.
Talk about small, portable, and multipurpose!
