the Cioks DC7 (or the Eventide Powermax) has basically solved it for me. It's definitely pricier, but I put it in the "buy once, cry once" category. I don't think I'll ever need another power supply.
Each output is not only isolated, but you can set the voltage for each individually (9/12/15/18v). Gives you a few options to run different dirt/fuzz at different voltages to coax out some other textures.
IF you need more outlets, you can get a 4 outlet or 8 outlet expander and run it off the DC7. For about the first year I had it just the DC7 was enough. I ended up adding a 4 to my main board for a total of 11 outlets. I'm usually running 9 or 10 pedals on my Metro20, and it's been flawless. I have extra outlets if I want to demo a pedal or two without tearing the rest of the board apart.
They also have adapters to combine outlets, or the Crux if you need to accomodate a particularly hungry pedal.
