I've been playing my Lenzner all plains guts for three years and like them, but I'm looking for a better quality all plain set of gut strings... who makes them

Double Bass Best quality plain gut strings

Efrano, Lenzner, Clef are all about the same quality. Not much in the way of anything "better" available in all plain sets.
I don't think Gamut or Dlugolecki will make plain gut E strings. It would be ass-tranomically expensive anyway.
