Best Sounding Practice amp.

heya, well... I was just thinking about this and would like to see what many of you amp freaks thought !!!

I've noticed about 1/3 of the bass players (Statistic taken from several polls) state they only want to play in their room, they have no urge to be in a band at all, and some of them have extremely fine gear... I was wondering for those who would prefer to play / practice alone, but don't want to dump a lot of money on amps and cabs, what are some of the best sounding Combo's, Im thinking something between 50-100w But don't hesitate to list any combo or rig of any wattage. Just thinking something with great tone, and maybe a small size for those who wish to be at home.

SVT + 810 wouldnt count as a practice amp then ?


Ive always had a thing for the Ampeg Flip-Tops, only ever played a re-issue, but they look cool!

I bought a used Ampeg b100r. I use it also for small venue gigs.
