Best ways to gear for up for a show while being sick?

I find that most of the time when my sinuses hurt, it's at least partly because they're swollen. In which case, Advil (ibuprofen) usually helps quite a bit. Other than that, do the usual stuff, rest, drink lots of fluids, make sure to eat & then come show time, u may just have to tough it out. Once u start playing, adrenaline should take over & help u feel a bit better - at least temporarily :)
Feel better & good luck with your gig!

Ran sound for a band during a bad head cold - half deaf. Brought my own tea and honey, and the bar had a hot water spigot on their coffee machine. Loved that place.
+1 to the hot Toddy. Try it with equal parts whiskey, hney, and lemon. Also, make sure you get a solid night's rest before the gig. No alarm clock, and go back to sleep at least twice. Follow with a long, hot shower to clear your head. Hope you feel better soon!
