Jaco talking all things music. Great stuff. This one gave me a lot of respect towards Jaco as a musician.

That's starters and about the only good instructional stuff I've seen for bass. If you really want internalize all the info on those, it's going to take a while.

The most informative lessons I've ever used from You Tube were from a guy named Andrew Furmanczyk. I'm not sure what kind of lessons you're looking for, but he just teaches straight theory, not specific to any instrument. He's actually posted an entire course and I watched the whole thing. The guy's a great teacher. He was the first person who brought theory to life for me. Here's the link to the course if you're interested. I highly recommend it:

Scott, I look forward to the new tuttorials you're promising. Glad to hear there is more great info on its way. Your lessons were a big help to me. I felt confident in my fretboard knowledge and theory before I checked out your site but it definately broadened my perspective and playing. Continuous arppegio/scale exercises, left hand finger positions, melodic minor substitutions, the Richard Bona lick!!. All great stuff.
So, when will the new stuff be ready. Im already growing impatient.:hyper: What will the new tuttorials entail?

And remember, keep it 4 string friendly. Just kidding of course:eyebrow:

Hey Monroe55 thanks for the interest!

As far as when is it going to be up and running... Hopefully within 8 weeks (Wow it seems scary saying that!). The content is going to cover everything from theory stuff like substitutions etc all the way through to technique, practicing, tune analysis, rhythm exercises etc etc... loads of stuff!

Unfortunately (well... not that unfortunate!) i'm up to my eyeballs with gigs at the moment so thats kinda taking first place. I just got the job as musical director for a polish platinum selling artist. Check her website out if your interested... http://www.tatianaofficial.com/ So its taking a lot of organizing at the minute and then fingers crossed we'll be off on tour in April so i'm just going to have to get the website done bit by bit. When it does go live though there'll be a lot more content on there straight away so you'll have plenty off stuff to get your teeth into!
