Better late than never...

Hi there,

I’m Greg from France and i’m new here.

I’ve been involved in music all my life as a sound engineer but never took some time off to start and practice any instrument except for basic piano stuff for programming.

I finally started playing bass during the pandemic at 46 yo... and i loved it.

I’ve been reading a lot here lately and finally decided to register !

Cheers

After retirement there are all kinds of afternoon gigs that will open for you - as all the other guys are on their day job. Played retirement and nursing homes for over 25 years. Pay is Litle to none, but, enough to get you out of the house.

Bittersweet experience, they love to see you and relationships develop, then one day they are not there...

Welcome and have fun.

Wish my bass skills were enough to gig... but i’m just starting...

1st time on a scene was just before Christmas for the music school concert where each student/band can play a couple of songs.

Played 2 songs with my kids who do gtr and lead vocal plus a drummer and a pianist.
Was a little bit nervous but had a great time :)

Next will be in april... still some time to learn and practice !
