Do they make anything better looking than your average switch craft output jack with the hex nut and washer. I've seen some Tom Andersons that have a bullet style nut that is kind of rounded off and looks alot better.

Does anybody know of a source for anything like this?

Typical barrel jacks are deeper than a standard fender body. Oddly enough, I had a guy request this exact thing from me a while back. Since I'm lazy and he didn't want to pay much, I just filed down a regular hex nut to make it round, added grips with a knurling tool and he was happier than a pig in ****. Had to be tightened/loosened with pliers though, so I added a drop of loctite and called it a day...

I'm looking for something similar to the type of nut that is on the switch in this picture. I'm starting to think I wont be able to find it.

Such things do exist, but you will have to beat the bushes. The shop where I work has drawers of obsolete switches and jacks, unfortunately I can't take or buy stuff! You might take a jack to an old radio shop and see if they will let you rummage.
