Apologies if this has already been covered to death, but I was unable to find a clear answer.. I have an '18 Ibanez BTB740 with the Bart BH2's...have already ditched the factory pre for an Aguilar OBP-3, now looking to replace p/u's with something to get more upper end coloration. I understand the BH2's are some proprietary thing and Bart currently offers no direct replacement. However... who makes what that would be pretty much a direct 'drop in'? For example, it looks like the Aguilar DCB's (D-1) size wise are just a hair under and would work. Is that feasible, and are there any other suitable choices? Just looking for ideas here..

The Bart BH2's come in various sizes. We've acquired some informations about the 5 and 6 string BH2's dimensions, but lIIRC not the 4 string ones.

Yep, posted it over there too as I wasn't sure. The ones I have are 3.908" (99.263mm) long by 1.138" (33.477mm) wide. That works out very closely to 3 7/8" L x 1 3/8" W, as the crow flies. Spent some time digging today, haven't really found anything that's a drop-in or slightly under that will work without routing out the body...which I'm trying to avoid.
Yeah, looks like Bartolini BC or Aguilar D1 size pickups are your best bets. Probably the 100.33 or 100mm length of the BC/D1 size could be a tight fit in to the cavities, but most likely you could sand the pickups cover just a hair on the sides to make them fit.
Dud you find a viable replacement? I'm interested in upgrading an EHB1000S with DCBs in the D1 size or Big splits in the BC size. I'm not sure they will fit.
