BIG BLOCKS ON A MUSIC MAN CLASSIC 5

Have you ever seen this? Rosewood neck with Big Block neck markers, Double Diamond at 12th fret. I called MM and they couldn't i.d. it. Ever seen thie before?

I'm thinking stickers. I (personally) have never seen blocks NOT also be on the 1st position, and the 12th position block might not have wide enough to cover the double dots there.

Judging by the double diamond on the 12th, those are just stickers.

Either stickers, or sometimes EBMM does a one-off for an artist they endorse. Most likely stickers, my guess.

They don't quite line up down the neck so definitely hastily applied stickers. I put these same ones on a squier of mine and forgot the 1st fret one the first time too. Had to redo it. I can also confirm that the blocks usually aren't big enough for the double dots on the 12 so they must have used diamonds.

On the plus side, these come off really easily.

Weird. I don't think I have ever seen a MM with blocks...untapered blocks to boot. I do not like it...even with tapered locks i think its whack. my two cents
