Six bassists showed up at a guitar workshop recently. Just for fun, for performance night we did a bass version of Pick Up the Pieces, each of us taking a part. (I was horns… ). It was fantastic. Not that AWB lost any sleep, but for 2 days work we did a pretty good job (no pros here) and - here's the kicker - the guitarists and others present went wild. Bassists became visible!

So - any suggestions for another funky fun song to get the same treatment next time?

Did anybody record that? I'd love to hear it, especially you doing the horn riffs on bass.
