Big Muff clone help

I'm planing to build a Big Muff and a booster (probably the super hard on) in the same enclosure. I want to make these mods on the Big Muff: mids knob, feedback loop and a switch to go from all diodes, to only the second pair, to no diodes.

What version should I get? I can choose between violet ram's head, green russian, triangle second version, triangle third version and “american” (I think they mean reissue).

What switch do I need for the diodes mod, and how do I wire it?

Have you explored Beavis Audio? Look around in there for diode wiring.
Do you want high, medium, or low gain?
Do you want an inherent big or lower mid scoop (before you add a mids pot)?

I looked at Beavis before posting, but I was still not sure about how to do the diodes wiring. I've been looking again and I think I only need one DPDT on/off/on. Is that right?

I want medium gain and scooped, but not super scooped.

Yes on/off/on dpdt.

You should do well with a black Russian.
