Big Muff wont work in chain with other pedals?

I recently bought a Big Muff pedal, which on its own works fine.
I've powered it using a mains adapter and a battery clip to ac power plug (that connects to my powerbrick).

On its own its working fine, but as soon as I put it in my pedal chain it stops the whole chain from working.

I've done a search but couldnt find a solution, is there something really obvious Im missing here?

:hmm:

I've tried different cables and tested those cables with other pedals.
The only factor thats causing the problems is the muff.

Could it perhaps be a power issue?
I have a few pedals powered off of a 9v powerbrick, one pedal off an 18v adapter, one off its own adapter (9v) and another with its own 9v adapter.

Could the differences in voltage be causing issues at all?

Ok, tried a few things and I've found the source of the problem, but still no wiser to a solution.

I started taking each pedal out of the chain one at a time while leaving the rest in to see if it would change anything. turns out if you take the DOD PDS 1550 out of the chain everything works as it should.

The problem is the Big Muff and my DOD PDS 1550 do not work together.

Now, the muffs powered off the powerbrick (which is working fine btw) and the DOD PDS 1550 is running off of its own powersupply.

Still confused as too why the two wont work together though.
Any suggestions?
