Wee update:
My girlfriend and I have been dating for a year and a half in a couple weeks. She made me an early gift - an ivory pickguard.
It's 1:07 am right now so I don't have great lighting and due to extreme tiredness, I just threw it on the bass without properly placing it, but here you go.
This thing looks bad-freaking-ass.

Part two of the update - I'm still waiting on my pickup to come back. It was fixed and shipped very quickly, but it's not here yet and I'm nervous.
It is currently in Canada, but Monday is a holiday and it looks like Canada Post may be going on strike Wednesday... basically, if it's not here by Tuesday it could be a good amount of time.
