As I’ve gotten older(47 this coming Feb) I’ve tried to lighten my load—Quilter BB800, Schroeder 410, everything else in my case—and I’ve been pleased with the results and my back thanks me. But I felt like I was missing something. Not a whole arm, but maybe a hand. I started cruising TB and Reverb for tube amps and 15s. The itch got itchier, and the GAS got...gassier(?) So yeah, now I have a Traynor YBA300 and Tyrant Tone sealed 215. Way heavier, and WAY HEAVIER. Used it at a gig last weekend for the first time with my band, and holy hell this setup absolutely ROARS. My guitar players eyes just kept getting bigger and bigger, as did his smile, through our first song. I feel 21 again! My back however, does not.... Looks like I have a practice rig and a live rig. I can wear my big boy pants now.
