So about two weeks ago, I went to the local GC to looks at some used basses they have to replace my thin necked ones. Ended up with a JB-2. Great bass, great sound. But I also tried a used Squire Jag while I was there, the full sized one. I was blow away by both it's playability and sound. Was it as good as the G&L, of course not, but it was surprisingly close.
Couldn't pick it up then as the county it's in won't let them sell traded equipment for 30 days. Went back yesterday and paid a whole $170 bucks for it, can pick it up the first of next month.
