Big Time Mr. Fox - Tribute to Terry Fox

Thank you for doing this.
I saw his statue as I drove through Thunder Bay
There's another statue of Terry here in Victoria at Mile 0. I also stopped at the one in Thunder Bay on my way out east a decade ago. Brent Truitt wrote the song... I just tried to make it thumpy for Terry. Don Schmid from the Northern Pikes did the mixing, video, and drumming.

Canadians of a certain age will remember Terry's marathon across Canada in 1980. Played my Pedulla Rapture 5 into my modded DP-3X and VT Bass pedals. Bass is pretty phat, maybe too big, with a little bit of sludgy drive.

Nicely done.

This American is also of an age to remember Terry Fox well. An amazing guy.

My other hobby is distance running...thus that connection too.

Thanks for posting.

The term hero is bandied about a lot but this guy ran a 26 mile marathon every day for 143 days for a total of 3339 miles. On a prosthetic leg.
There is nothing comparable and there never will be.
Terry Fox will live forever due to his incredible athletic feat but really because of his ultimate selfless sacrifice for all that have been or may yet to be touched by cancer.

He is the definition of the term hero.
