Tentatively for sale/trade is my Birdsong Corto II bass. Still not sure I'm giving it up but wanna test the waters, been on the fence long time. Would consider a Rick 4003 or maybe a Stingray Classic. Also interested in quality 5 string fretless basses. Hit me up if you have something sweet.

It is Spanish Cedar body with Maple neck and Rosewood fretboard and Control cover. Kent Armstrong soapbars sound excellent and it has VVT controls.

Insanely light, it is under 6 lbs close to (5.5) and still balances very nicely.

It is in great condition, only some light scratches from player wear that you have to view at an angle to even see. No dings on the neck.

The action is low and very very nice. I measured just under 2mm at the 24th fret. frets show almost no wear.

Side dots were enlarged by the builder Scott B per the original owners' request. See pics.

Includes an Ibanez micro soft gig bag, also the original arrowhead truss rod cover will be installed, I just forgot before the pics.

It is strung with EB cobalt flats and it sounds fantastic.

I accept paypal and will ship UPS ground.

    • Short 31" scale for less reach and easy fretting - comfy 24 fret neck.

    • SIDE DOTS ARE THERE - we do prefer a clean fretboard face, though.

    • Balanced & light weight - mid 7 to 8 pounds complete - some even into the 6s!

    • Maple neck (most 3-piece) with 2-way truss rod.

    • Warm passive tones, incredibly big sounding. We don’t offer active electronics.

    • 1.5" nut width, 17.5 mm spacing at bridge, 14" radius

    • Pro-quality parts throughout, beautiful hand-rubbed oil natural finish.

Could you please post the nut width and string spacing at the bridge? Thanks.

Sure thing it is 1.5" nut and the bridge spacing is 17.5mm with adjustment, Hipshot A Style bridge/w stringthru body. It can use regular scale strings
