Black ice + Cap =?

If i were to wire my tone with a black-ice-clipping-diodes in front of the cap, what would happen?

You'll need something pretty heavy to drive the Black Ice.

Think 16k as a minimum.

It won't sound like much of anything. Complete signal suck. If your pickups don't have enough ass to break over the BI's threshold, you get a bunch of quiet.
