So i have this problem, my 15 inch black widow is destorting, but not all the time and mainly at low volume. I pulled it apart every thing looks good?? Is this what they do befor they give up completely ?
Even though the primary problem in this thread turned out to be something different, there were good speaker/coil gap cleaning suggestions in it - if, indeed, your problem is really with the speaker. Is it in a combo, or can you plug your amp into a different speaker, and a different amp into this speaker, just to check...?
