Tc electronic BLACKSMITH.. Just started to really dig into mine and its a great Class D amp.. Many EQ options and with the TubeTone and Spectracomp settings you can get a really clean smooth tone from it.. Very impressed with this.. The onboard and pedal tuner option is a bonus too..

Haha! Yep. I think they were scared to go small format because of where their projected sales were going. It might have been perceived as weak. Just a thought.

I'll be honest, that was my initial thought after looking at the compact control panel.

The back seems to indicate that it may not the the case... but still not completely convinced.

26lbs? Sounds like it to me.

Me too, a good bit. Felt pretty confident I'd be able to figure it out with just a bit of web sleuthing - it's not like it's a new amp. The amount of secrecy around that thing is unreal.
