bleeding souncard ?

I'm getting a good bit of bleedthru between tracks thru my rather cheap soundcard, AC97. Can I expect better performance with a better card (I'm not talking about sound quality, other than bleedthru) ?

I have used several different sound/audio cards the past few years and never had this problem. I have used cheap cards up to the now pricey stuff. It never hurts to upgrade and this sounds like a good reason to do so in your case. I hope it takes care of it.
