Blend Knob

I am sorta new to the whole bassist world. I'm trying to learn as much as possible. I have a Schecter Stiletto Custom-5 bass. It has three knobs on it. Two EQ knobs, a volume knob and a master blend knob.

First ... how do I know which one is the volume knob and which is the blend knob?

Second ... What does the blend knob do???

The volume is the one that adjusts the volume. Shouldn't that be obvious from adjusting it?:confused:

Blend pots adjust the balance from neck to bridge pickup.
Usually fully-clockwise is the neck pickup, and fully-counterclockwise is the bridge pickup, but some basses are wired the other way around. If you can't identify the pickups by sound, try tapping on the pole pieces to see which one is audible when you solo either pickup.

So that would make since... but it seems like they are both volume knobs controlling the two pickups. I say this because if I turn one all the way down and leave the other up I still get sound. And vice-versa. Is this possible? The spects online say different...

any thoughts?

All of the Schecter Stiletto custom 5's that I've seen have FOUR knobs. Volume, Blend, High, and Low.
Does the knob that should be the blend have a center detent or "click"?
It could have been modded by the previous owner the exclude the blend pot and make it volume/volume.
