Seeing as how these threads are almost always used to pontificate the fact that in a blind test one can't discern between an expensive bass and a cheap one, I'm going to guess it's some kind of mid-priced ibanez bass. As for other gear I have no idea.
cjmodulus, yeah, I always was interested in blind tests. No brand, no look, no playability - only sound. But it seems to me, that 90% music we hear is perceiving not basing on brand, look or playability.

BTW, capnjim, I've been thinking about what you said, and I'm going to use criteria "sounding in a mix". For this I recorded bass with drums (see above). It changes the "feel" indeed.
