I just do some random crazy thing. Or I'll ask for their managers phonenumber in an angry fashion. Fun thing is that since we have two national languages here in Finland (finnish and swedish), and I happen to belong to the minority of swedish speakers (that doesn't make me a swede, mind you!), it's very easy for me to get rid of them. I just keep on talking swedish. Most telemarketer does not know swedish, only finnish, so even though I can speak perfect finnish, they can't communicate with me. It gets even funnier if you start of asking for a swedishspeaking person, which you never get, and then say "oh well, if I have to" and start talking finnish. You then listen for a while to their crap about how great their product is, and then when they start asking for you to buy it, I just forget my finnishskills. One guy got so annoyed that he started shouting at me. I then politely asked for his managers phonenumber and his name in finnish, and the stupid guy gave it to me after I told him that I want to recommend him to his boss for his excellent communication skills. Let's just say that he might have had a little problem with his boss later the same day. And no, I don't take pity in people how gets paid to annoy other people, they should get a real job.
