I got this head YEARS ago with hopes of learning more about tube amps from my old shop partner, the lovely and talented Adam White at Chrome Dome Audio here in Cincinnati. We opened it up once to clean all the crap out of it (it had all the trapping of a mouse taking up residence inside of it for a winter). Other than that we never got any further with the diagnosis. As I'm up to my @$$ in guitars I have no time, energy, or patience to work on a tube amp. I'm parting ways with it as is. My loss is your gain! I don't know what's wrong with this thing. It may be easy, it may be hard, but I still don't care.
