Blue Rock fretless bass?

Has anyone heard about Blue Rock basses? This one looks really cool, but for $250 there has to be a catch:

Bass guitar, Fretless, 5 string, active pickups. New | Reverb

Anyone have any experience with Blue Rock?

Well, this might be a little late by now, but I just purchased the exact same bass guitar, but fretted, on ebay. I'm still getting used to it. Plays great, sounds a lot better than I expected. I'm getting a lot of popping on my small, old bass amp, though. It must be because of the active pickups it has. I don't know what model they are, but I've had to turn down the volume pretty low on the bass itself to be able to get a good, clean sound out of my amp. If you have the money, I would recommend it.
