All apologies for the poorly lighted photos. For sale is a beautiful piece I can barely stand to get rid of. It is the limited Blueboy version of the Rickenbacker 4003. I believe 2004 was the color year for this one. I have had it for about a year; I searched long and hard for a Blueboy but as the second 4003 I am sadly convinced I can't get into the sound of the 4003 as opposed to my 4004 and my missed 4001. Comes with the original case.
It is in excellent shape! I also have the pickup cover. Flats installed. Cosmetically, it has been played but shows only nominal scuffs. No significant dings, dents, or even scratches. Two areas are slightly aged in color - the back of the neck and the arm rest area on the upper bout. They are seafoam greener. Plays excellent, all electronics work excellent. Pretty cut and dry.
Looking to get $2500/BO shipped. Will ship international for extra. Will meet within 100 miles for a few extra bones. Hard to part with but an Aguilar and cello are calling.
